Why
you should get involved: how it can help
- Although
a lot of work is going on in the background, we still
need your support (and we are upfront about it). Your
showing interest could help make this a reality quicker
and benefit you and others sooner.
- Every breakthrough idea in social-entrepreneurship needs
people to help make it work. Instead of only watching
from the sidelines, we ask that you become involved by
showing interest, which is supportive.
- We are not asking for money. All you need do is help
in whatever little way you can by telling others and,
if you like, telling us about your effort (by emailing
friends at peertopeerinsurance.com).
- Remember, every great service, product, or event, started
with an idea worked on and shaped by people.
- We are confident that the Peer-to-Peer insurance system
will help millions of people and families when launched.
This, alone, is a good feeling. That's why we would like
you to be a part of it from the get-go.
- Supporting our effort means telling others about
this project so that they too can visit this website,
learn about it and decide for themselves. You don't
even have to try to convince them.
- Apart from telling others, you could also volunteer
as a Peer-to-Peer Insurance friend.
What's the difference between telling others and volunteering?
Volunteering involves doing things like leaving flyers
or cards at places in your community, for example, grocery
store information boards, dry cleaning services etc. Ask
us and we can supply these materials.
To volunteer, please send us an email with the
words "Friends of Peer-to-Peer Insurance" as
the subject and tell us your name, city and state, plus
any other information you wish to share, for example,
why and how you wish to volunteer. Send the email to:
friends at peertopeerinsurance.com
(To send email, replace the word "at" with the
symbol @ and close all the spaces in our email address
or it will not be sent successfuly to us).
Any benefit from volunteering?
You will get full credit for it. Plus, we reserve the
right to reward our volunteers with certain considerations
of our own choosing, at our own time (not that this is
your reason for volunteering).
